Founding general meeting charts the chamber's first year

Rajbari Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its founding general meeting at the chamber office in Sajjankanda, Rajbari Sadar, bringing together members from all five upazilas.

Members approved the chamber's first annual plan, which focuses on growing membership, delivering a regular training calendar and building links with banks and buyers.

Six standing committees were formed — Training & Skills, Trade Fair & Market Linkage, Finance & Banking, Policy & Advocacy, ICT & E-commerce, and Membership & Welfare — each led by a director with member volunteers.

“Today we stop being individual entrepreneurs working alone. From today we are a chamber.”

The meeting closed with a call for every woman entrepreneur in the district to join the chamber before the end of the year.
